Connecting with Myself + Connecting Skills to Work
Through this camp, students learn strategies to speak up for themselves and make decisions about their own life. Students students understand their unique skills, abilities, and needs as they learn to self advocate while increasing confidence and self-esteem. Students also learn soft employability skills such as communication, teamwork, decision making and organizational skills are included in this training, which prepares them to enter working life.
Students must attend each date in the session in order to successfully complete the Camp.
Summer 2025 Sessions:
July 7th - July 18th (50 hours total)
July 21st - August 1st (50 hours total)

Connecting School to Real Life (Work-Based Learning Experiences)
Through is offering, students undergo community-based work experiences in a real workplace to acquire on-the-job knowledge that will help them connect their learning to real life.
